Product.Description
Features:
- Internal rumbling module for the GamePark 32
- Rumbling that responds to game sounds
- Adjust sensitivity of rumbling with volume dial
- External switch for enabling/disabling rumbling
- Prototype only, sale price expensive
This special modification involves installing a rumbling module inside the GamePark 32, giving the system internal rumbling that it compatible with all software. The rumbling reacts to different levels of sounds from any application, and the sensitivity of the rumbling is proportional to the volume adjusted on the system. There is also an external switch installed to toggle the rumbling function on and off.
Overall the rumbling works fairly well and it responds consistently most of the time. However, the rumbling gets a bit saturated and unresponsive if there is a lot of sound action and the setting is on its most sensitive. Adjusting sensitivity fixes this undesired function. The rumbling module does consume power so having it on all of the time will reduce a systems average battery life significantly. On the other hand, having it on occasionally will not put a huge drain on your batteries.
This modification remains as a Mash-Mods prototype only. This doesn’t mean that it’s not available for sale, but it is not offered at rates as typically low as our regular items. This is due to heavy part costs, installation difficulty and overall modification consistency. The GP32 internal rumble is available as a send-in modification; you can have your system installed with an internal rumble pack for $45 USD.
